Enquanto nos reuníamos na casa de nosso mestre, Mestre Sênior Júlio Camacho, surgiu uma ideia: de que os diretores da recém-formada Gestão Integrada sempre deveriam participar dos eventos principais da Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence. De início, iríamos ao ano novo chinês junto aos membros do Grande Clã Moy Yat Sang, dali a uma semana. A ideia foi de pronto bem recebida.
Já ouviu falar em "tradutore, traditore"? No caso do Kung Fu há tantas traduções possíveis para o termo que podemos escolher um significado de acordo com cada contexto de uso. Como bússola, sigo o atual entendimento de meu mestre sobre esse termo, de que o Kung Fu tem três pilares: proposição, adesão e apoio.

O próximo passo era nos prepararmos para a viagem. Se já havia uma proposição e todos aderiram, agora era a vez do apoio. Havia apenas um problema, não havia recursos para uma viagem de quatro pessoas.
Sempre me senti incomodado com as viagens no ambiente do kung fu. Vejo meu mestre viajando para São Paulo, Nova York e Hong Kong, nunca como turista, sempre pelo kung fu. Mas nunca me imaginei fazendo o mesmo. Curiosamente, o tempo de viagem da minha casa até o Núcleo Barra é de duas horas, o dobro do tempo até São Paulo.

Fomos e voltamos. Eu fui o responsável financeiro da viagem. Estudamos quem podia pagar o quê e quais coisas deveriam ser pagas com cartão e em dinheiro. Onde podíamos, onde não podíamos e onde devíamos gastar.
No fim das contas, a quantidade de experiências transformadoras em um final de semana foi enorme e certamente a organização financeira foi a menor delas. Essa viagem mudou o rumo do Núcleo Barra. E me dei conta agora: a viagem correu bem por conta das ações baseadas em proposição, adesão e apoio, mas o que mudou do André que não se imaginava viajando para o André que se empolgou com a ideia foi a capacidade de relaxar antes de lidar com qualquer problema. E isso eu só desenvolvi após anos convivendo com meu mestre.

In a meeting at our master's house, Senior Master Júlio Camacho, an idea came up: that the directors of the newly formed Gestão Integrada (A new structure of management in our schools) should always participate in the main events of Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence. To start, we would go to the Chinese New Year, in São Paulo, to gather with the members of the Grand Clan Moy Yat Sang on the next week. The idea was very well received.
Have you ever heard the expression "tradutore, traditore"? In Kung Fu case there are so many possible translations for the term that we can choose a meaning to it according to each context of use. As a compass, I follow my master's current understanding of this term, that Kung Fu has three pillars: proposition, adhesion, and support.

The next step was to get ready for the trip. There was already a proposition and we adhered to it. The next step was support. There was only one problem, we had no resources for a four-person trip.
I always felt uncomfortable with the idea of traveling in the kung fu environment. I have always seen my master traveling to São Paulo, New York and Hong Kong, never as a tourist, always because of kung fu. But I never imagined myself doing the same. Curiously, the journey time from my house to the MYVT Barra Branch is two hours, the double of time in comparison to a travel Rio-São Paulo.

We traveled and came back. And I was the financial responsible for the trip. We studied who could afford what and what should be paid by card or cash. Where we could, where we could not and where we must spend.
In the end, the amount of transformative experiences, just on a weekend, was enormous. Certainly the financial organization was the smallest of them. This trip changed the direction of the Barra Branch. And I realize now: the trip went well because our actions were based on proposition, adhesion and support, but what changed from the André who couldn’t imagine himself traveling to the André who was excited with the idea of doing it was the ability to relax before handling any problem. And this ability I only developed after years along my master.
